Since introducing AI-powered features like Voicemail Transcription and Text-to-Speech on the P-Series PBX in July, our customers and partners have experienced the value of AI in PBX—improving call handling efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and reducing costs.
This time, we’re taking the PBX experience to the next level with AI Call Transcription and Summary, a new tool with Virtual Fax, and seamless third-party data transmission via WebSocket support. Read on and watch the video to see how these updates can transform your business communications.

AI Call Transcription & Summary
AI Call Transcription & Summary is built into the PBX to make call handling smarter, simpler, and more productive.
Call Transcription converts any one-on-one voice or video call into readable text in real time, so you can follow along without missing a word.
Call Summary automatically generates a concise recap immediately after the call, including key points, highlights, and action items.
Think of it as your personal AI assistant during every conversation:
Instantly translate spoken words into text while the call is happening.
Follow each speaker’s words line by line for clarity and context.
Receive a ready-to-use summary right after the call, with all important notes at a glance.
Search and review past conversations anytime in your call log, making information easy to track.
With these tools, you no longer need to worry about missing details or taking notes. Every call turns into actionable insights—helping you stay focused during conversations, work more efficiently, and communicate with confidence.
*Call Transcription & Summary only supported on Software Edition & Cloud Edition.
Other AI-Related Features in P-Series PBX
Voicemail Transcription: Convert voicemails into text so you can read messages instantly without dialing in.
Text-to-Speech (TTS): Read and convert text into synthesized speech to improve customer interactions.

WebSocket for Audio Streams Transmission
Beyond the built-in AI tools, the P-Series PBX now supports one-way audio streaming via WebSocket. During an active call, the system continuously delivers data packets containing details such as call ID, channel ID, call features, and more, making it possible to integrate with external systems for real-time transcription, speech analytics, or AI model processing.
*WebSocket only supported on Software Edition & Cloud Edition.

Virtual Fax
In addition to messaging, calls, video, and email, the P-Series PBX now supports virtual faxing, letting you enjoy complete fax capabilities directly on the PBX:
Send faxes to any contacts in your phonebook or manually added through the Linkus Web or Desktop Client.
Receive faxes directly on your PBX, with optional email copies—no printing needed.
Create personalized cover pages at the extension level, or choose from the cover templates configured by the admin.
Check fax logs instantly to monitor sending and receiving status.
With Virtual Fax, say goodbye to the hassle of old-school faxing: no more noisy connections, wasted paper from spam faxes, or expensive equipment. This feature is perfect for businesses that rely on faxing regularly but want a simpler, more efficient way to manage it.

Additional Optimizations
Emergency Number Trunk Assignment: Define specific trunks for extensions when dialing emergency numbers for faster, reliable connections.
Expanded Role Menu Permissions: In addition to the Super Admin, Administrators can now manage role-based menus, making PBX branch management more flexible and efficient.
New Function Key – Set Presence: Quickly update PBX presence status directly from the function keys for better call handling and visibility.
